Summer is approaching and that means more light weight pretty tops, capris, and flowy dresses. I’ll be going for a “no make up” look and showing more skin which means getting to the gym to tone up! For a sun-kissed look without baking in the sun (not good!) I like this bronzer. Make up is simple with my favorite shimmer and creamy blush that I also apply to my lips for quick color.
For a beach themed event we attended over the weekend, I picked up this fun tank .. circles within circles of beachy crochet fun! Underneath I wore a bright body suit (only $30!) which is a great way to add an extra layer (for coverage) if you are wearing a crop or knit top.
Block heels are so much more comfortable that a pointed heel and you can dress them up or down. These are comfortable, not too high and I like the perforated leather style.
Denim. Distressed, white, dark, fitted, boyfriend style ..I love it all. Today I’m going with a light weight, distressed style and adding a feminine shoulder bag. This bag can also be carried as a clutch, is roomy inside, and the color works with everything!

Leslie,
My mom used to crochet…if she were still with us she could have probably made me one of these. Very cute.

What fun! I like to use crochet as a layering piece. It does feel beachy AND reminds me of our days living in CA. Hope you are enjoying your day Karen!
Hi Leslie,
Lovely post and you look tres chic. I remember having a crocheted bikini many years ago, like that.
happy weekend

Carolyn
