How to design like a pro | my coffee table

coffee table design books

For those of us that choose to do-it-yourself, or perhaps it’s not in the budget to hire a designer, doing your own research is key. Today I’m sharing my favorite coffee table books that have provided me with lots of inspiration for my design projects. It’s fun to change up my favorite design books so I have the opportunity to revisit or see something new and inspiring.  Today I’m sharing my favorite design books on my coffee table.  Some of my books are classics that I return to time and time again and there are a couple new ones.  ALL of them are getting me inspired to do a little bit of tweaking here and there.

After sharing this reel on Instagram showing my design books  I thought I’d link them below along with a few coffee table favorites.

My coffee table is currently full of books, not typical but this is working for me now.  Reading, self care, family time .. are just a few ways to live in the moment and not get caught up in the stresses of modern life. My favorite design and cookbooks are a fun escape.  I dive in and get inspired with decor ideas and pick up ideas for meal planning.

  1. Hi Leslie, I think I have a little coffee table book addiction for all things home decor related. Most recently Marie Flanigan’s The Beauty of Home and Aerin Lauder’s Entertaining Beautifully made their way into my collection. I found Athena’s blog when we were on vacation last Summer, have since purchased her book. Need to try more of her recipes too…so far I made her Raspberry Galette. So good! I have her cookbook on order from the library.

    1. Me too! They seem to be so many good ones out now. I have Aerin’s book and I’m considering Athena’s cookbook as well. I need to do a little more research into the recipe index. The Galette sounds delicious!
