Easter Table Setting: Four Easy Steps

Spring, renewal, birth, newness, fresh, change … these words come to mind today.  So much is going on and I can’t wait to share more but for now, let’s talk about adding a little beauty to your home.

1. Plates, Glassware, Linens, and Cutlery

Begin with a your favorite dinner plate (mix and match!) and add your favorite linen runner, tablecloth, or placemats.   Next add a bowl or salad plate and pretty cutlery.  I like to use the rose gold for holidays.  Add your water and coffee or wine glasses to the right of your plate. For my napkins I found these gorgeous light weight linens.  I like the frayed edges and they are so soft and delicate.  The runner is white linen so the fabric is strong enough to stand up to vigorous washing when, not if;) stays happen.

2. Candles

For a simple Easter breakfast I’ve added Glassybaby votive holders.  You can also use Mercury Glass, candle sticks or all of the above.  I like the blush candles for spring time and I usually order the tea lights for my votives on Amazon (here).

3. Flowers

I always have flowers on my table when I entertain.  We eat family style (lots of food on the table) so I am a minimalist when it comes to decor and florals.  I filled a couple vases with spray roses and fancy daffodils, that’s it.   Try shopping at your local market or Trader Joes for reasonably priced blooms.

4. Seasonal Decor

I ordered these adorable pastel bird nests and filled them with Easter basket grass and candy egg, so simple and just a few dollars to create a sweet Easter decor.  The egg holders (here) were so cute  I decided to add those in too.
