Fall Bucket List

Hello Friends,  I’m back today to share my Fall Bucket List!  It’s a busy time of year with the holidays approaching so I wanted to get these bucket list items checked off so I can begin planning for the busy season ahead.  Here we go!

Fall Bucket List

• Take a drive to the country to see the fall colors

I just can’t enough of the gorgeous fall color!  Surprisingly, autumn in WA state displays a stunning array of color.  Deep reds, gold, yellow, and orange.

These gorgeous branches were clipped from my yard.  I like bringing natural elements inside!

• Go to a pumpkin patch

This year we found a farm, complete with goats, bunnies, and even some fall produce.

• Have friends over to watch football or a fun movie

Bake something hearty in the oven or prepare a big pot of chili.  Don’t forget munchies and cozy throws for your guests.  This year I’m adding a sweet caramel party mix (recipe is here!) that is sure to be a winner!

• Fall getaway

This year we visited the North East to see the Fall colors.  As an added bonus we stayed near the Niagara Falls area and did the touristy boat excursion to the spectacular falls.  It was a wet experience;) but totally worth it. This was one of those bucket list items that I finally checked off!

• Decorate for Halloween

I’m more about fall harvest than skeletons however because my family enjoys a little BOO around the house we decorate a week or so before Halloween and then take it right down.  I  filled my clam shell with spooky decor that I ordered from Amazon and pulled out brass, copper and black accent pieces.  I love these check towels for fall.  You can even use them as napkins!

• Everything pumpkin!

I’ll be baking my favorite pumpkin bread (see my recipe here!) and it’s healthy enough to enjoy with a cup of Joe in the morning!

• Find the perfect cozy sweater and comfy boots

I usually buy a couple sweaters for the fall and winter season.  One is always a big chuncky knit variety and the other is a v-neck cashmere variety.
