Navy for fall
Happy Friday! Today I’m talking about navy for fall. This versatile color can stand alone or be paired with black, white, or gray.
Start with basics like a pea coat!! This one is crafted in wool and looks super cozy and I love the classic silhouette and button enclosure. A basic pencil skirt and wool flared pants are wardrobe essentials for the office and I wear mine with a silk blouse and pumps (for less). For the evening how about a this navy dress? The easy fit is flattering and the lace adds a feminine touch. Don’t forget to add smooth, lustrous leather .. like this leather tote (for less) to elevate your look!
For more casual days denim with a poplin cotton blouse and vest like this one is my go to uniform. For make up try a little shimmer and navy like this taupe shimmer and blackened blue shadow. Use a light touch and make sure to use the perfect eye shadow brush. Finish with an irresistible lip gloss that’s loaded with moisturizing shea butter and oils to soothe and protect dry winter lips.
The cooler nights are getting me in the mood to do a little nesting so I’m stocking up on candles. Try a warm liquid salted caramel and salt candle .. yes, it’s guilt free;) and perfect for cozy nights ahead or given as a housewarming gift. I will also add my personal favorites from Jo Malone like this Pine and Eucalyptus fragrance. It’s only available once a year so I get mine in October before they sell out;)

Great picks! Love navy this time of year. Such a classic.
Thanks Lauren! I think navy is a great color and so versatile. In the fall and winter months I tend to wear so much black and gray. It’s nice to take a break and add in the navy:)
Hi Leslie, navy is a huge part of my wardrobe for all the seasons…just ordered a beautiful cashmere navy blazer, cant wait to get it, love your picks! Hope you are well:)
Wow, that will be gorgeous! Happy weekend to you;)
Leslie,
I love navy and being a red head, it looks better with my coloring than black. I’m loving that dress!
Enjoy the week.
