seasonal decor and style

One of the easiest ways to freshen up your home is to introduce live elements.

Bring in fresh market flowers, fill a wood bowl with fruit, plant potted hydrangea, fill a crock with herbs, or try forcing bulbs.   Seasonal flowers like tulips are available at the local market are an inexpensive way to bring spring into your home.  A decorative towel is a must along with functional bar mops.  This towel is pretty, functional, and currently on sale!

A soft, girlie tee is a wardrobe staple for spring. I love the color of this one and as an added bonus it’s half off and selling out quickly!

These jeans I totally love!  They are so soft and the first pair of hight-rise denim I’ve tried on that are comfortable and flattering.  If you want more of a mom-jean ~ these are also super cute!   Flats are adorable with rolled up boyfriend jeans or a skinny  style.  My flats are old (Repetto) and they are like slippers.   I just ordered these flat lace ups in pink and will show them to you later!

Change up your mantles, coffee tables, and couch pillows.

Remove or replace heavy throws and change up pillow covers to reflect the season.

Switch out spicy, or heavy scented candles for something fresh and floral like this Jasmin candle.

Beads and books are a perfect match or you can add something larger like this Geo!

In your powder room replace the dark canisters with something light.  White marble, ceramic, or glass are all good options.  You can also add marble trays and a whitewash trash basket to freshen up your space!

  1. Hi Leslie,

Such a beautiful post and I agree having flowers around the house always makes it so much lovelier. They look like David Austin roses, love them.
    You have a lovely home.
    happy week
