Nature awakes and suddenly there’s an explosion of color. After a cold, dark winter I’m anxious to get outdoors and also feel the need to change things up inside, following the cadence of nature and the cycle of life. Flowers bloom and bare trees begin to reclaim their beauty in the forest. Today I’m sharing spring ideas for decorating. Simple Easter Decor Tip #1: Add wood to make your home feel cozy and warm. Wood is everywhere in my home. I like to mix old and new, dark and light. Recently I purchased this chest an my local antique store. I was looking for a unique coffee table and this was perfect!
Simple Easter Decor Tip #2: Add fresh flowers and/or branches. I clipped the cherry blossoms from our yard and the flowers came from our local market. From one bouquet I filled several vases and made a cute Easter display using egg shells! See the tutorial here and the reel here.
Simple Easter Decor Tip #3: Add a vintage Easter sign. I found this sweet sign on Etsy and it’s just the right size for my built-ins.
Simple Easter Decor Tip #4: Change out darker throws for lighter ones and change pillow covers. I ordered this sweet linen pillow cover from Etsy and love it so much! The soft, neutral pattern is perfect for our home.
Simple Easter Decor Tip #5: Add a new candle to your space. Recently I’ve been burning a lavender candle that I really love along with beeswax tapers.
Simple Easter Decor Tip #6: Add a little brass! I found the this vintage bunny that I will likely leave out year round. Fill the bowl with season treats! I also like to display my brass candle holders for a cozy, farmhouse spring vibe.
