Hi Everyone! Today I’m sharing pieces that unexpectedly work perfectly together like this gorgeous satin dress (oh my!!!) with a leather jacket (for less here) or how about a tulle skirt with a relaxed top  (for less) and sneakers (these are 33% off)?!  Booties can worn at any age and styled in so many ways!  My favorite is Rag & Bone and this one would be perfect for spring and summer with denim or a dress.

  1. Leslie,
I love those half boots, do you think those can be worn by any age person. I’ve toyed with the idea of buying a pair but worried I’ll look like I’m trying to look younger than I am! :-)

    1. Hi Karen, YES, absolutely! The one I have featured has a high heel and that may be difficult for some women but the idea of a bootie is something can work for anyone. My favorite is Rag and Bone (there’s a link in the text on the blog) The heel and ankle height is perfect and can be worn with skirts, dresses, and denim. Style is something that is very personal and I believe we should wear what’s comfortable. Once we reach a certain age and begin to feel .. the hemline needs to come down;) .. that’s fine but it doesn’t mean you have to get all frumpy. I see far too many women throwing in the towel and I think that although we are seeing more women of various ages out there, models are always in their teens and early twenties and so it’s difficult to see how one might add certain pieces to the wardrobe. Hope this helps and I’m always happy to help so ask away!!
