Homemade Pumpkin Butter Recipe

Creamy and filled with Autumn spices, this pumpkin butter is perfect for your morning toast or on top of your favorite Fall treat.

Ingredients

  • 1 14 ounce can of pumpkin puree
  • 1/3 cup apple cider use store bought or homemade (on the blog)
  • 1 slice dried orange or one half of a fresh orange
  • 2 tsp pumpkin pie spice recipe on the blog
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4-1/3 cup maple syrup
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Combine all the ingredients in a simmering pot and simmer for 20 to 30 minutes or until thick and creamy.

  2. Pumpkin butter can be used immediately or added to an airtight jar and stored in the refrigerator for about a week.
