Raspberry Kefir Smoothie with Elderberry Syrup

Easy to make and packed full of vitamin C and other antioxidants to boost immunity.

Ingredients

  • 6 ounces Unsweetened Kefir
  • 1 tsp Camu Camu powder
  • 1 tbsp Elderberry Syrup
  • 1 tbsp Honey
  • 1 cup Raspberries

Instructions

  1. Add berries and kefir to your Vitamix.

  2. Measure out elderberry syrup and camu powder, add to your blender.

  3. Mix until blended and pour into a mason jar or glass of choice. Enjoy!

Recipe Notes

We enjoy this smoothie as a snack or supplement to breakfast.  Add extra honey as needed for sweetening.  Try using blueberries and banana for something a little different. Fresh or frozen fruit works well.  If you don't have elderberry syrup, an easy recipe can be found here.  Alternatively you can add elderberry in powder form.  More information is on the blog.
