Cozy Fall Porch
It is officially Fall here in WA state so I thought it would be the perfect day to share our cozy fall porch! The leaves are starting to show their fall colors, rich golds, red, yellow, and orange. This morning it was 46 degrees and I actually turned on the fire place! Tonight I’m having our first fall dinner party and I’ll be serving a French Cassoulet and apple pie.
The rain has also started here in the Pacific Northwest (let’s get those salmon down-stream) so it’s Hunter boot time. You can see the rain drops on the pumpkins and the pavers are still wet.
This years cozy Fall porch is a mix of vintage and contemporary decor, lanterns, baskets, and a vintage container.
I’m a neutral girl at heart so most of my pumpkins are white and then I added a couple Cinderella pumpkins for color. In my urns I planted white daisies and added small containers of purple mums.
I found this vintage coke container in the corner of my garage and almost tossed it a few months ago. Glad I didn’t because it’s perfect on the stone bench in our entry. I found a little wire basket, added a mum and love the way this looks.
We picked these apples at our local farm and I’m still trying to use them up! Layla decided to grab one and devour it, seeds in all ;) ..sneaky girl!
