Perfect for lazy weekends, holiday mornings, or when you just need something warm and sweet from the oven. Pull-Apart Monkey Bread is also a fun gift idea. Wrap up a batch and add a big bow!

What You’ll Need:

Ingredients are simple! Grab a could ready-to-bake cinnamon rolls (grands, or regular) – I just ordered these on line to save time. You’ll also need butter, brown sugar, and (optional) pecans.

How to Pull-Apart Monkey Bread

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • On a cookie baking sheet, add 1 cup chopped pecans. Bake for about 10-15 minutes or until just a little bit toasty. Remove from the oven and set aside.
  • Liberally grease and flour your Bundt pan.
  • Melt butter and add vanilla extract and cinnamon if you’d like to add a holiday flavor.
  • Remove cinnamon rolls from the package. Cut into quarters for Grands size or 6 pieces if using regular size cinnamon rolls. For extra sweet flavor and texture – roll each piece in cinnamon sugar.
  • Add 1/2 of the pecans to the bottom of the Bundt pan and then layer half the dough pieces. Drizzle with 1/2 of the melted butter followed by 1/2 of the brown sugar.
  • Repeat the steps above.
  • Bake for about 30 minutes.
  • Remove from oven and invert.
  • Devour!

Ingredients

  • 2 cans large ready-to-bake cinnamon rolls*
  • 1 cup chopped pecans (I like to roast mine first)
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup or 1 stick of butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Grease and flour a Bundt pan.
  2. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  3. On a baking sheet, toast pecans for about 5 minutes. Remove from oven and chop.
  4. In a small saucepan, heat butter - set aside.
  5. Open both cans of cinnamon rolls. Set the icing aside for later. Cut each roll into quarters.
  6. Sprinkle 1/2 the pecans on the botton of the Bundt pan. Add half the cinnamon roll pieces. Drizzle 1/4 cup melted butter over the top followed by 1/4 cup brown sugar. Repeat with remaining cinnamon roll pieces, add remaining butter, brown sugar, and pecans.
  7. Bake for 35-40 or until toasty on top. Remove from the oven and use enclosed frosting to FROST the monkey bread.
  8. Pull-apart and enjoy immediately!

Notes

Immaculate and Pillsbury Grande ready-to-bake cinnamon rolls both work for this recipe. This is best when served warm out of the oven. You can also cover with foil and reheat if you'd like. If you are using regular size cinnamon rolls, cut each roll into 6 pieces rather than four and reduce cooking time.
