I’m ready for apple season, and this Apple Crisp Caramel Latte might be my favorite way to welcome it.
I made a simple apple cider syrup with brown sugar and apple cider, then combined it with two shots of espresso, ice, and creamy milk. Then I finished it with whipping cream and a generous amount of caramel, all homemade of course. And don’t forget to garnish your latte with a sliver of apple!
To make the latte
- 2 shots espresso
- 2 tablespoons apple cider syrup
- 1/2-3/4 cup cold milk
- ice
- whipped cream
- homemade caramel
- apple for garnish
- cinnamon optional
Add the apple cider syrup to a glass (I use a Weck jar) and pour the espresso on top. Stir to combine.
Fill with crushed ice and add the cold milk. Top with fresh whipped cream and drizzle with warm caramel. Finish with a thin apple slice or cinnamon stick.
A little apple crisp, a little caramel, and a lot of fall in one glass.
