These cheesy garlic rolls are delicious and so easy to put together. Make sure to add them to your next appetizer or dinner menu!
What you’ll need:
- frozen or freshly made pizza dough
- marinara sauce
- Mozzarella cheese
- butter and Italian herbs
- garlic
Cheesy Garlic Rolls
Take your average rolls and turn them into cheesy garlic bites of goodness! These are best hot so serve right away.
Ingredients
- Frozen pizza dough
- 4 Tb butter
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 4 ounces mozzarella cheese, cubed
- 2/3 cup pasta marinara sauce for dipping
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Line baking pan with parchment paper.
On a lightly floured surface, cut pizza dough in to 8 pieces using a bench scraper.
Form a rectangle, add a cube of cheese, and fold inward to form a tight ball.
Bake for about 15 minutes.
Melt butter and lightly sauté crushed garlic.
Brush with garlic butter.
Sprinkle with course salt and your favorite Italian herbs.
Dip in marinara sauce!
Notes
You can make the pizza balls ahead and freeze them. Thaw out for about 20 minutes prior to cooking.
