How to create a French farmhouse | cozy vintage finds
Hello Friends!
I hope you’ve had a fun and productive week. I’m back for another round of my favorite vintage finds! In case you missed it (my subscribers found out last week;) – we are moving! As you know, we’ve been searching for acreage with a home that we can renovate .. and we finally found it! It’s been a crazy past couple of weeks and all I can say is that the moon and the stars lined up and this was meant to be. Our plan for the existing home is to build a second story on one side for guest bedrooms and an office and vault the other side. There will be tall ceilings (a must for my Christmas tree!) and a big kitchen and great room area. We are building a European Farmhouse and I can’t wait to share our journey with you!
As I search for furnishings I’ll be sharing my ideas here.. in these curated spaces. Some items I’ve already added to our home but there’s lots more to come!
Grab a cup of Joe and let’s take a peak at todays picks. Don’t forget to visit my Favorites page!
Antique Wall Shelf: This shelf would look great in a European Farmhouse kitchen or bedroom.
Antique Books: There are so many beautiful antique books .. in every color. I like the green for springtime for a pop of color on your shelf or coffee table.
French style Café curtain: So many options! I might us something like this in my kitchen.
French Bergere Chairs: These are classics and so comfortable. Reupholster or leave as is.
Wrought Iron Bed: I’m on the look out for the perfect wrought iron bed. This one is pretty!
French quilt: French quilts add so much cozy charm to a room. Fold and pile in a basket or add to your bed for a cozy French farmhouse look.
Vintage dresser: There is so much bleached, light wood out there. I’m leaning towards cozier vintage pieces that haven’t been updated.
Wall sconces: These wall sconces are so unique and I like the detail.
Ironstone pitcher: Add one to your side table or dresser and fill with flowers or start a collection and add to one of your kitchen shelves.
French Toile Pillow: I like the pattern on this French toile pillow.
I hope you feel inspired to add something vintage piece to your home!
