Like most years, New Years Eve will be spent at home. After lots of holiday preparation, cooking and baking nonstop, cleaning, shopping, wrapping, etc.. I’m ready to slow things down to close out the year. This past year has been a tough one and I am choosing to be optimistic about our future and I know that for our family, we have lots to look forward to and for that I’m grateful.
Shopping Resources:
Despite the inconveniences and emotional ups and downs of the past year, it’s all okay. We made the very best of the situation and I have a greater appreciation for family, nature, and all the little things in life.
This year entertaining has been a challenge but I always say, I’ve there’s a will there’s a way, and I was determined to keep things as close to normal as possible.
Keeping it easy to finish out the year
Our groups are smaller and I’ve been shopping a little differently. If I wanted to avoid the shopping scene I purchased food and material items on line. Some companies offer overnight delivery and free shipping making it a better option if you are trying to avoid crowds.
As we end 2020 we will be celebrating New Years Eve at home. I ordered assorted crackers and cheeses and will make a warm soup for dinner. We will enjoy New Years Eve eastern standard time with a little bubbly and maybe a cracker or two, simple and easy. Beginning January 1, 2021 we begin with a clean slate and lots to look forward to.
Wishing you and your family a happy and healthy 2021!
