Late Winter Style

These candid pictures were taken over the weekend when we were out running errands. In Washington state our weather is often rainy and cold this time of year so practicality must be considered when choosing what to wear. Heels are pretty but don’t work when the weather isn’t perfect.

I’ve attempted to build my wardrobe around a few essential pieces and almost always avoid compulsive, trendy spending. My mom used to say, it’s better to choose quality over quantity and I agree!

Wardrobe building pieces

  • Turtleneck: This is a basic that will last for years. You’ve seen me wear this a couple of times in my REELS.
  • The leather purse is priced well and fits the essentials. Links below –
  • Denim: I’ve had these for years. Once you find a pair of jeans that fits well, stick with them!
  • Wool Coat: Another wardrobe basic. I wear this if wear is not in the forecast. I’m wearing it with leather walking boots. Of course you can dress this up but I’m going practical today.

Here’s the REEL!
