This is our first bar cart. In previous homes we’ve had a designated area that we kept supplies for serving drinks. It was difficult for guests to access so that required us to be available to prepare and serve beverages.
In our current home there isn’t a designated spot for bar supplies so I decided to add a ‘multipurpose’ bar cart that could be used for not only beverages but also glasses, vessels for flowers, coasters, and more.
Having a bar cart open to guests will allow them to refresh their drinks as desired and free us up to visit with everyone.
Bar cart storage
Bar carts are great for storage. Store your favorite glasses, sparkling water, soda, lemons/limes, etc. Don’t forget to add linen or paper napkins and wine or glass coasters.
After styling my bar cart with various items I realized I can change things up to reflect the season we are in. How fun is that?!
For spring and summer I’ll add lots fresh flowers and other accessories that reflect the season. In the fall I’ll switch to dried flowers and candles.
