Fall is underway and I’m taking stock of my minimalist baking supplies, linens, and serve-ware in preparation for the busy entertaining months ahead. This little ramekin is the sweetest and I use it to serve our favorite brie appetizer through the month of October. If you have the room for storage, buy 6 and use to serve your favorite squash soup!
This appetizer is so simple to put together you’ll find yourself serving it over and over again as the weather gets chilly.
The best part of this recipe are the endless options. Serve with warm crusty bread, crackers, dried fruit, nuts, and sliced apples. For the brie topping, try brown sugar, fig jam, or apple butter. I like to add roasted hazelnuts or candied pecans to the top.
