I decided to make string cheese broomsticks for our Fall party and they were such a hit I wanted to share them with you. This appetizer can be served throughout the month of October and even the first part of November prior to getting into the more decadent holiday appetizers.
Kids will enjoy these as well as adults! The salty pretzel and cheese combination is a winning one.
Tips for success
As the cheese warms to room temperature it gets softer and is more difficult to work with. Begin with cheese that’s cold!
Serve right away and don’t store in the refrigerator. Once you make your broomsticks, them should be gobbled up over the next couple of hours. If you refrigerate them the pretzel will loose it’s crunch.
Instructions: How to assemble string cheese broomsticks
