Looking for an easy picnic lunch idea? Try these delicious, kid-friendly turkey picnic sandwiches! Last year I came up with this easy picnic lunch idea and everyone enjoyed it so I thought it would be fun share my turkey picnic sandwich recipe!
Why we like Turkey Picnic Sandwiches
Light, refreshing, full of lean protein, and even kid friendly, these sandwiches are healthy and make an excellent spring or summer lunch. I use sprouted wheat bread, organic sliced turkey breast, sprouts or microgreens, apple, and grapes. The combination of all these foods along with a little mayo is so good.

What goes best with turkey picnic sandwiches?
These are a meal in themselves however we always bring a bag of chips and our favorite pressed flower cookies. These are so much fun to make and taste delicious and will taste delicious after your turkey picnic sandwiches. You can also add extras like salted sunflower sees and sliced Havarti cheese if you’d like.
What should I put in my picnic basket?
Elevate your picnic with candles, pretty linens, and plates. Don’t forget to pack a bottle of sparkling water or your favorite wine! One of my favorite picnics last summer was this one in WA wine country. If you’d rather pack a salad, my Pacific Northwest Cobb is so yummy! When I packed this salad, everything was prepared and placed in containers ahead of time. Assembly was simple!
