Hello Friends! I hope you’ve had a productive week and have started to plan out your holiday schedule. Will you be staying home or flying somewhere? Our plan is to home. My preference is not to travel around the holidays and we are fortunate to have family near-by. Today I’m sharing a second round up of holiday fun, Tree Skirts and Toppers. If you missed the first one, head over to this blog post! This year I plan to re-purpose decor from past holidays for the most part. With are pending move (one more week!) I’m going to be busy getting situated and I’ve got to sort through all my Christmas boxes and bins to see what I have. This was one of my favorite Christmas trees. Also don’t forgot to think about hostess gifts for Thanksgiving. Here is a full hostess gift guide and if you’d like to make something, I love this idea. Lastly, don’t forget to check out Amazon Holiday Shop for gift ideas!
Choosing Themes for Christmas Decor
Do you choose a theme for your holiday decor or keep things the same every year? I do a mix which I’m sure is the case with most. Our new home is a European Farmhouse so my decor will reflect that. I can’t wait to see what I do (ha!). I’m hoping that as we are moving in, my creative juices will begin to flow (it’s been a while!) so I can come up with something.
What size tree topper should I use?
I thought this was an interesting guide.
Tree Height | Tree Topper Size |
---|---|
4 – 5.5 feet | 5 inches tall by 6 inches wide |
6 – 6.5 feet | 7 inches tall by 5 inches wide |
7 – 7.5 feet | 4 inches tall by 4 inches wide |
Grab your hot cocoa, tea, or coffee, and let’s go through some of the tree skirts and toppers I found!
